Based on a comparison of 135 countries in 2018, Central African Republic ranked the highest in pupil to teacher ratio in primary education with 83.4 persons followed by Malawi and Rwanda. On the other end of the scale was Liechtenstein with 7.68 persons, Luxembourg with 8.30 persons and Cuba with 8.83 persons.
