Based on a comparison of 174 countries in 2018, Niger ranked the highest in population aged 0-14 years as a percentage of total population with 49.5% followed by Mali and Chad. On the other end of the scale was Hong Kong with 10.7%, Japan with 11.6% and Germany with 11.7%.
