Based on a comparison of 176 countries in 2019, Cayman Islands ranked the highest in urban population as a percentage of total population with 100% followed by Monaco and Hong Kong. On the other end of the scale was Papua New Guinea with 13.3%, Burundi with 13.4% and Liechtenstein with 14.4%.
