Based on a comparison of 177 countries in 2016, Hong Kong ranked the highest in urban population as a percentage of total population with 100% followed by Macao and Singapore. On the other end of the scale was Trinidad and Tobago with 8.35%, Burundi with 12.4% and Papua New Guinea with 13.0%.
