Based on a comparison of 176 countries in 2017, Monaco ranked the highest in urban population as a percentage of total population with 100% followed by Macao and Kuwait. On the other end of the scale was Burundi with 12.7%, Papua New Guinea with 13.1% and Liechtenstein with 14.3%.
