Based on a comparison of 10 countries in 2022, South Africa ranked the highest in chicory root production with 12,432 tonnes followed by Ukraine and Philippines. On the other end of the scale was Russia with 15.0 tonnes, Qatar with 88.0 tonnes and Bosnia and Herzegovina with 102 tonnes.
