Based on a comparison of 69 countries in 2017, China ranked the highest in electricity production from hydro sources with 1,155,773 GWh followed by Canada and Brazil. On the other end of the scale was Denmark with 15.3 GWh, Israel with 24.5 GWh and Estonia with 29.6 GWh.
