Based on a comparison of 50 countries in 2016, Turkey ranked the highest in fig production with 305,450 tonnes followed by Egypt and Algeria. On the other end of the scale was Qatar with 18.0 tonnes, Ecuador with 38.0 tonnes and Slovenia with 59.0 tonnes.
