Which Country Uses Internet the Most?

Based on a comparison of 176 countries in 2018, Iceland ranked the highest in share of population using internet with 98.2% followed by Liechtenstein and Kuwait. On the other end of the scale was Eritrea with 1.18%, Somalia with 1.88% and Guinea Bissau with 3.76%.

Average share of population using internet reached 52.4% in 2018 in the World according to World Bank. This is 5.6 % more than in the previous year and 56.3 % more than 10 years ago.

Historically, average share of population using internet reached an all time high of 52.4% in 2018 and an all time low of 15.7% in 2005. The average annual growth amounted to 9.70 % since 2000.
