Based on a comparison of 136 countries in 2017, Madagascar ranked the highest in real interest rate with 47.8% followed by Brazil and Iraq. On the other end of the scale was South Sudan with -70.4%, Dem. Republic of the Congo with -14.9% and East Timor with -11.1%.
