Based on a comparison of 31 firms among Global Car Producers, Porsche AG generated the highest EBIIDA Margin in 2017 followed by Ferrari and BMW Group.

Porsche AG made EBITDA of EUR 6,420 mil, which translates into EBITDA margin of 27.3%. Historically, the firm’s margin reached an all time high of 112% in 2008 and an all time low of 23.1% in 2009. The average EBITDA margin in the last five years amounted to 26.9%.

Comparing Porsche AG with its closest peers, Ferrari generated EBITDA of EUR 919 mil with a EBITDA margin of 26.9% in 2017, BMW Group grossed EUR 16,891 mil (EBITDA margin of 17.2%) and BAIC Motor Corporation announced a profit of EUR 2,978 mil translating into a margin of 16.9%.
