Based on a comparison of 149 countries in 2019, Belarus ranked the highest in military expenditures as a share of government expenditure with 31.8% followed by Singapore and Saudi Arabia. On the other end of the scale was Haiti with 0.004%, Mauritius with 0.597% and Moldova with 1.11%.
