Based on a comparison of 42 countries in 2020, Turkey ranked the highest in short-term interest rate measured by 3-month interbank interest rate with 12.8% followed by Brazil and South Africa. On the other end of the scale was Switzerland with -0.731%, Sweden with -0.503% and Italy with -0.329%.
