Historically, total wine consumption in Hungary reached an all time high of 402 Ml in 1973 and an all time low of 199 Ml in 2020. When compared to Hungary's main peers, total wine consumption in Austria amounted to 244 Ml, 176 Ml in Czechia, 186 Ml in Poland and 18.0 Ml in Slovakia in 2021.
