Almond production reached 20,615 tonnes in 2018 in Pakistan, according to Faostat. This is 5.21 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, almond production in Pakistan reached an all time high of 50,015 tonnes in 1999 and an all time low of 9,000 tonnes in 1961. When compared to Pakistan's main peers, almond production in Afghanistan amounted to 34,413 tonnes, 49,879 tonnes in China and 139,029 tonnes in Iran in 2018.
