White arsenic production reached 1,500 tonnes in 2007 in Kazakhstan, according to the National Statistical Office. This is the same as in the previous year.
Historically, white arsenic production in Kazakhstan reached an all time high of 2,000 tonnes in 1992 and an all time low of 1,500 tonnes in 1994. When compared to Kazakhstan's main peers, white arsenic production in China amounted to 25,000 tonnes and 1,500 tonnes in Russia in 2007.
