Female asylum applicants reached 8,030 persons in 2014 in Belgium, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 1.32% more than in the previous year.
Historically, female asylum applicants in Belgium reached an all time high of 10,915 persons in 2011 and an all time low of 5,190 persons in 2008.
