Bank assets as a share of GDP reached 107 % in 2017 in Mongolia, according to the National Central Bank. This is 1.04 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, bank assets as a share of GDP in Mongolia reached an all time high of 109 % in 2013 and an all time low of 8.28 % in 1995. When compared to Mongolia's main peers, bank assets as a share of GDP in China amounted to 320 %, 48.4 % in Kazakhstan, 41.0 % in Kyrgyzstan and 84.1 % in Russia in 2017.
