Bank deposits by public bodies reached USD 296 bil in 2011 in the European Union, according to the National Central Bank. This is 3.60% less than in the previous year.
Historically, bank deposits by public bodies in the European Union reached an all time high of USD 342 bil in 2008 and an all time low of USD 93.7 bil in 1999.
