Bank interest expenses reached EUR 90,426 mil in 2016 in Germany, according to the National Central Bank. This is 13.9% less than in the previous year.
Historically, bank interest expenses in Germany reached an all time high of EUR 342,137 mil in 2008 and an all time low of EUR 9,452 mil in 1968.
