Bank loan loss provisions reached BWP 469 mil in 2021 in Botswana, according to the National Central Bank. This is 44.4% less than in the previous year.
Historically, bank loan loss provisions in Botswana reached an all time high of BWP 1,022 mil in 2017 and an all time low of BWP 444 mil in 2018.
