Bank loans by public bodies reached USD 509 bil in 2011 in Germany, according to the National Central Bank. This is 13.5% less than in the previous year.
Historically, bank loans by public bodies in Germany reached an all time high of USD 607 bil in 2004 and an all time low of USD 440 bil in 2001.
