Based on a comparison of 40 countries in 2021, Uzbekistan ranked the highest in births attended by skilled health staff as a share of total with 100% followed by Uruguay and Lithuania. On the other end of the scale was Niger with 43.6%, Madagascar with 45.8% and Afghanistan with 61.8%.
