Citrus fruit production reached 146 kt in 2016 in Belize, according to Faostat. This is 24.6 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, citrus fruit production in Belize reached an all time high of 311 kt in 2005 and an all time low of 27.1 kt in 1979. When compared to Belize's main peers, citrus fruit production in Guatemala amounted to 386 kt, 308 kt in Honduras, 8,110 kt in Mexico and 7,514 kt in USA in 2016.
