Historically, citrus fruit production in South Korea reached an all time high of 779 kt in 2007 and an all time low of 1.40 kt in 1961. When compared to South Korea's main peers, citrus fruit production in China amounted to 37,924 kt, 871 kt in Japan and 1,134 kt in Vietnam in 2016.
