Cottonseed oil production reached 404 tonnes in 2014 in Namibia, according to Faostat. This is the same as in the previous year.
Historically, cottonseed oil production in Namibia reached an all time high of 1,171 tonnes in 2004 and an all time low of 16.0 tonnes in 1990. When compared to Namibia's main peers, cottonseed oil production in Angola amounted to 550 tonnes, 90.0 tonnes in Botswana, 6,700 tonnes in South Africa and 11,900 tonnes in Zimbabwe in 2014.
