Cottonseed oil production reached 1.00 tonnes in 2014 in Uruguay, according to Faostat. This is 99.7 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, cottonseed oil production in Uruguay reached an all time high of 4,642 tonnes in 1996 and an all time low of 1.00 tonnes in 1981. When compared to Uruguay's main peers, cottonseed oil production in Argentina amounted to 26,700 tonnes, 298,600 tonnes in Brazil, 900 tonnes in Chile and 2,400 tonnes in Paraguay in 2014.
