Fresh cow milk production reached 1,437 kl in 2014 in Afghanistan, according to Faostat. This is 3.9 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, fresh cow milk production in Afghanistan reached an all time high of 1,650 kl in 1999 and an all time low of 300 kl in 1986. When compared to Afghanistan's main peers, fresh cow milk production in Iran amounted to 6,820 kl, 12,912 kl in Pakistan, 648 kl in Tajikistan and 2,160 kl in Turkmenistan in 2014.
