Eu asylum applicants by country of origin reached 10,905 persons in 2014 in Iran, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 14.0% less than in the previous year.
Historically, EU asylum applicants by country of origin in Iran reached an all time high of 13,600 persons in 2012 and an all time low of 4,905 persons in 2008.
