Historically, fertiliser consumption in Senegal reached an all time high of 12.7 kg in 2004 and an all time low of 2.11 kg in 2007. When compared to Senegal's main peers, fertiliser consumption in Gambia amounted to 0.493 kg, 1.61 kg in Guinea and 27.9 kg in Mali in 2013.
