Historically, generation of non-hazardous waste in Denmark reached an all time high of 18,363 kt in 2014 and an all time low of 12,269 kt in 2004. When compared to Denmark's main peers, generation of non-hazardous waste in Germany amounted to 365,692 kt, 129,372 kt in Netherlands, 10,420 kt in Norway and 164,459 kt in Sweden in 2014.
