Based on a comparison of 55 countries in 2016, USA ranked the highest in geothermal, biomass and other consumption with 84,607 GWh followed by China and Germany. On the other end of the scale was Kazakhstan with 1.86 GWh, Iran with 47.1 GWh and Vietnam with 59.2 GWh.
