Goatskin production reached 7,342 tonnes in 2014 in Mexico, according to Faostat. This is 8.17 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, goatskin production in Mexico reached an all time high of 10,199 tonnes in 1986 and an all time low of 2,634 tonnes in 1961. When compared to Mexico's main peers, goatskin production in Belize amounted to 0.190 tonnes and 1,101 tonnes in Guatemala in 2014.
