Hard coal production reached 8,656 kt in 2015 in Mongolia, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 37.7% more than in the previous year.
Historically, hard coal production in Mongolia reached an all time high of 26,070 kt in 2011 and an all time low of 68.3 kt in 1997.
