Interest rate on bank deposits reached 5.55% in fourth quarter of 2004 in Iceland, according to the National Central Bank. This is 10.6% more than in the previous quarter.
Historically, interest rate on bank deposits in Iceland reached an all time high of 17.1% in 1Q1990 and an all time low of 2.73% in 2Q1994.
