Interest rate on bank loans reached 22.8% in third quarter of 2015 in Uganda, according to the National Central Bank. This is 1.98% more than in the previous quarter.
Historically, interest rate on bank loans in Uganda reached an all time high of 40.0% in 1Q1990 and an all time low of 17.7% in 1Q2003.
Uganda has been ranked 6th within the group of 100 countries we follow in terms of interest rate on bank loans.
