Expenditure of international tourism reached USD 1,263 mil in 2020 in Bulgaria, according to Eurostat. This is 42.5% less than in the previous year.
Historically, expenditure of international tourism in Bulgaria reached an all time high of USD 2,602 mil in 2008 and an all time low of USD 312 mil in 1995.
Bulgaria has been ranked 46th within the group of 123 countries we follow in terms of expenditure of international tourism.
