Historically, expenditure of international tourism in Tanzania reached an all time high of 1,288 USD mil in 2015 and an all time low of 360 USD mil in 1995. When compared to Tanzania's main peers, expenditure of international tourism in Mozambique amounted to 135 USD mil, 334 USD mil in Uganda and 478 USD mil in Zambia in 2018.
Tanzania has been ranked 97th within the group of 150 countries we follow in terms of expenditure of international tourism, 13 places behind the position seen 10 years ago.
