Historically, number of international tourist arrivals in Bahamas reached an all time high of 1.63 mil in 1996 and an all time low of 1.33 mil in 2009. When compared to Bahamas's main peers, number of international tourist arrivals in Cuba amounted to 4.59 mil, 6.19 mil in Dominican Republic, 0.467 mil in Haiti and 76.9 mil in USA in 2017.
Bahamas has been ranked 101st within the group of 149 countries we follow in terms of number of international tourist arrivals, 22 places behind the position seen 10 years ago.
