Number of international tourist arrivals reached 60.7 mil in 2017 in China, according to Eurostat. This is 2.48 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, number of international tourist arrivals in China reached an all time high of 60.7 mil in 2017 and an all time low of 20.0 mil in 1995. When compared to China's main peers, number of international tourist arrivals in India amounted to 15.5 mil, 28.7 mil in Japan, 24.4 mil in Russia and 76.9 mil in USA in 2017.
China has been ranked 6th within the group of 149 countries we follow in terms of number of international tourist arrivals.
