Number of international tourist arrivals reached 0.074 mil in 2017 in East Timor, according to Eurostat. This is 12.1 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, number of international tourist arrivals in East Timor reached an all time high of 0.079 mil in 2013 and an all time low of 0.014 mil in 2006. When compared to East Timor's main peers, number of international tourist arrivals in Australia amounted to 8.82 mil, 14.0 mil in Indonesia and 25.9 mil in Malaysia in 2017.
East Timor has been ranked 147th within the group of 149 countries we follow in terms of number of international tourist arrivals, 16 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
