Number of international tourist arrivals reached 0.445 mil in 2016 in Haiti, according to Eurostat. This is 4.71 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, number of international tourist arrivals in Haiti reached an all time high of 0.516 mil in 2015 and an all time low of 0.096 mil in 2004. When compared to Haiti's main peers, number of international tourist arrivals in Cuba amounted to 3.98 mil, 5.96 mil in Dominican Republic, 2.18 mil in Jamaica and 3.74 mil in Puerto Rico in 2016.
Haiti has been ranked 126th within the group of 158 countries we follow in terms of number of international tourist arrivals, 21 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
