Number of international tourist arrivals reached 1.21 mil in 2016 in Senegal, according to Eurostat. This is 11.4 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, number of international tourist arrivals in Senegal reached an all time high of 1.37 mil in 2017 and an all time low of 0.280 mil in 1995. When compared to Senegal's main peers, number of international tourist arrivals in Gambia amounted to 0.161 mil, 0.060 mil in Guinea and 0.173 mil in Mali in 2016.
Senegal has been ranked 109th within the group of 158 countries we follow in terms of number of international tourist arrivals, 17 places behind the position seen 10 years ago.
