Number of international tourist arrivals reached 35.6 mil in 2017 in Thailand, according to Eurostat. This is 9.41 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, number of international tourist arrivals in Thailand reached an all time high of 35.6 mil in 2017 and an all time low of 6.95 mil in 1995. When compared to Thailand's main peers, number of international tourist arrivals in Cambodia amounted to 5.60 mil, 3.26 mil in Laos, 25.9 mil in Malaysia and 3.44 mil in Myanmar in 2017.
Thailand has been ranked 12th within the group of 149 countries we follow in terms of number of international tourist arrivals, 8 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
