Number of international tourist arrivals reached 0.427 mil in 2017 in Venezuela, according to Eurostat. This is 29 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, number of international tourist arrivals in Venezuela reached an all time high of 0.988 mil in 2012 and an all time low of 0.337 mil in 2003. When compared to Venezuela's main peers, number of international tourist arrivals in Brazil amounted to 6.59 mil, 4.11 mil in Colombia, 0.247 mil in Guyana and 0.395 mil in Trinidad and Tobago in 2017.
Venezuela has been ranked 126th within the group of 149 countries we follow in terms of number of international tourist arrivals, 21 places behind the position seen 10 years ago.
