Historically, lard production in Serbia reached an all time high of 13,594 tonnes in 2007 and an all time low of 10,933 tonnes in 2009. When compared to Serbia's main peers, lard production in Bosnia and Herzegovina amounted to 373 tonnes, 16,909 tonnes in Croatia, 81,280 tonnes in Hungary and 60,906 tonnes in Romania in 2014.
