Based on a comparison of 48 countries in 2012, Iceland ranked the highest in life expectancy at 60 years for males with 20.1 years followed by Switzerland and Australia. On the other end of the scale was Belarus with 12.3 years, Ukraine with 12.7 years and Moldova with 12.8 years.
