Mercury production reached 1,861,000 kg in 2015 in China, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 17.6% less than in the previous year.
Historically, mercury production in China reached an all time high of 2,259,000 kg in 2014 and an all time low of 193,000 kg in 2001.
