Mortgage loans reached RON 99.0 bil in second quarter of 2023 in Romania, according to the National Central Bank. This is 12.6% less than in the previous quarter.
Historically, mortgage loans in Romania reached an all time high of RON 115 bil in 4Q2022 and an all time low of RON 52.1 bil in 1Q2010.
