Non-performing loans as a share of bank equity reached 14.3% in 2020 in Uganda, according to the National Central Bank. This is 6.50% more than in the previous year.
Historically, non-performing loans as a share of bank equity in Uganda reached an all time high of 32.9% in 2016 and an all time low of 7.38% in 2005.
