Non-performing loans as a share of bank assets reached 46.4 % in 2018 in Ukraine, according to the National Central Bank. This is 4.67 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, non-performing loans as a share of bank assets in Ukraine reached an all time high of 47.2 % in 2006 and an all time low of 3.31 % in 2008.
Ukraine has been ranked 1st within the group of 22 countries we follow in terms of non-performing loans as a share of bank assets, 14 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
