Non-performing loans as a share of bank loans reached 4.09% in second quarter of 2023 in India, according to the National Central Bank. This is 3.74% less than in the previous quarter.
Historically, non-performing loans as a share of bank loans in India reached an all time high of 10.9% in 1Q2018 and an all time low of 2.00% in 1Q2009.
